This was not the best way to wake up.

I heard her yelling at him… cussing at him for making a mess downstairs. The mess that he always makes downstairs isn’t necessarily his fault. Jay Jay is 13 years old now.. which if you add it up to people years… he’s 91. He isn’t necessarily the healthiest old dog, because we can’t afford the check ups and the medicine the vets wanna treat him with. It scares me a little because I sometimes think Jay Jay has diabetes. He’s showing all the symptoms the vet told me about. So if my mom is going to yell at him for anything, it should be for him to get healthier. Not cuss him out or threaten to hurt him. AND of all people, SHE shouldn’t be yelling at him for doing what I told her NOT to do. Feed him all these table food everyday. NOT EVEN ONCE! He should be eating his own food. Jay Jay is my dad’s prize possession but since he’s in the Philippines, he hasn’t been getting enough attention. I’m the only one who does give him the attention he needs. And to hear my mom lie to my dad saying she’s taking good care of him, feeding him, and just feeding my dad bull… makes me furious.

This morning, I finally woke up after hearing several barks outside. I didn’t think it was Jay Jay but when the barks wouldn’t stop I had to check. I went downstairs and looked all around the house first to make sure it actually wasn’t him. I found my mom in the computer room and asked her where Jay Jay was. She didn’t even turn around and look at me… she just said “He’s dirty and stinky so I’m keeping him outside.” That just disgusted me. I ran to the backyard and saw Jay Jay’s bed thrown outside. Jay Jay was staring at the tree. Knowing that he’s blind, he probably thought it was the door. It’s windy and cold outside, Jay Jay does NOT have thick fur and he isn’t an outside dog either. I took him inside and found his body cold and he was shivering. HOW COULD SHE NOT CARE? HOW COULD SHE BE CRUEL TO MY DOG? HOW COULD SHE LEAVE HIM IN THE COLD, DIRTY AND BLIND! 

I gave him a bath and fixed my room up for Jay Jay to stay in. Next time I find her doing this mess, she’s gonna hear it from me… AND MY FATHER. This just isn’t right.
